When measuring, be sure to measure from the stove grate, not the countertop, as grates usually add height, which can affect the final installation height.

It is also important to align the pot filler well with your existing tile or wall design and appliances, so follow guidelines but also do a visual check. It is okay to put the pot filler a little higher or lower depending on your needs. The same goes for how far it extends from the wall. A distance of 12 to 22 inches is generally advised, but it depends on the size of your stove.
