The kitchen sink is part of almost every meal, from rinsing vegetables to washing the last pan. Choosing it early gives you a chance to plan the surrounding cabinet, countertop and faucet as one working area. The BLANCO PRECIS 30 is an undermount SILGRANIT sink with a straightforward rectangular design.
Why consider an undermount sink?
With the rim mounted beneath the countertop, an undermount installation creates a continuous-looking transition around the opening. Think about how that edge will work with your chosen countertop and ask your fabricator to explain the proposed reveal before approving the cutout.
What is SILGRANIT?
BLANCO’s SILGRANIT is a coloured granite composite designed for kitchen use. The PRECIS listing describes resistance to everyday cookware wear and a rear-positioned drain that helps preserve usable space. Follow BLANCO’s cleaning guidance to keep the surface looking its best; a durable material still benefits from regular care.
Size and cabinet planning
This article covers the PRECIS 30 × 18-inch model listed at Golzar Home. BLANCO specifies a 33-inch minimum cabinet size. The sink’s overall dimensions are not the countertop cutout dimensions: your fabricator should use the correct template and confirm the intended mounting detail.
Before finalizing your kitchen plan, review the cabinet interior with your installer. Allow room for the drain assembly and any other equipment you intend to put below the sink. It is easier to resolve a crowded cabinet on the drawing than after the countertop has been made.
Choose your colour with the other finishes
The specification lists Coal Black, Anthracite, Cinder, White, Truffle, Café, Volcano Gray and Soft White. Each colour has its own SKU. Compare the finish with your countertop, cabinet fronts and faucet, and confirm availability for the exact colour you select.
What should you confirm before ordering?
Check the model, colour SKU, cabinet size and countertop plan together. BLANCO’s specification lists a 3½-inch stainless steel strainer; confirm any additional accessories separately rather than assuming every pictured accessory is included.
